For this week’s Farmers Insurance Open, the PGA Tour’s West Coast swing moved from the Coachella desert towards San Diego.
Torrey Pines will host a packed field of the PGA Tour’s top players, including Justin Thomas, Jon Rahm and Collin Morikawa.
The tournament is a Wednesday-to-Saturday format once again this year, with the NFL’s AFC and NFC conference championship games scheduled for Sunday afternoon and evening.
Will Zalatoris was the only big name that didn’t make it to the cut on Thursday. Sam Ryder leads the field at 12 under. The South Course will host the third and final rounds.
