After back-to-back designated events, and a long run along the West Coast, PGA Tour will head to Florida for the month of February. It will begin with the Honda Classic in PGA National, Palm Beach Gardens.
The field is not overwhelming because of its position in the schedule.
Sungjae Im, Billy Horschel and others are some of the notable names. Sepp Straka will be back to defend his title.
This year will mark the end Honda’s sponsorship for the event, as the Tour narrows the list of possible replacements.
Pierceson Coody is the 2022 PGA Tour University No. He will be making his professional debut on Tour as a professional, he is a two-time Korn Ferry Tour winner.

History of the course
Course history is meaningless this week because of the volatility at PGA National. Since 2010, every single winner has missed a cut within three years of their win.
