It’s the time of year for reflecting on old traditions and reminiscing about days past, but TaylorMade has a new tradition that sees its tour staff adorned with stars drop a holiday greeting on social media. This got Twitter buzzing again on Tuesday.
The tradition began in 2019 when the brand, out of the blue, sent holiday cards to customers featuring Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy wearing pajamas with Christmas themes. The tradition continued digitally in 2020 and is now something golf fans look forward to every December.
The 2023 holiday card was released on Tuesday and features a Tiger Woods twist. In 2016, Tiger Woods, a 15-time major-winner, posted a bare chested photo of him as Mac Daddy Santa. His children Sam and Charlie love this tradition.
Mac Daddy Santa supervises toymaker elves this year that include Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood. Brooke Henderson, Collin Morikawa Charley Hull, Nelly Korda, and Brooke Henderson are also included.
