All comes down to one thing.
The 2023 Tour Championship, FedEx Cup Playoffs and the Tour Championship are all within one round of golf and 18 holes. Which golfer has the best chance of winning the 2023 Tour Championship and FedEx Cup Playoffs?
Viktor Hovland
The 25-year old Norwegian shot a 4-under-par 66 at East Lake Golf Club, Atlanta on Saturday. He is now 20-under for the tournament. Hovland leads the field by six shots going into the final round. He won the BMW Championship and Memorial Tournament in earlier seasons. Xander Schauffele, who is at 14-under par, is in second place. Colleen Morikawa and Keegan Brad are tied for third with 13-under. The largest 54-hole Tour lead this year is six shots.
Rory McIlroy was six shots behind Scottie Scheffler on Sunday last year. He then chased him down to win the FedEx Cup.
Here’s all you need to know about the final round 2023 of the Tour Championship. All times Eastern.
