The 2023 U.S. Senior Challenge will be held June 5-8 at Canyon Club in Albuquerque (NM). With a player roster that looks almost like a “who’s who” of senior national players, the WAGR power ranking will rival the best senior amateur tournaments around the world.
In its 38th year, the U.S. The nation’s first senior amateur tournament, the Senior Challenge offered 4-man teams from different states an opportunity to play against each other. The U.S. format is similar to a college format. Senior Challenge is a tournament within the tournament where individual and team champions will be crowned. FORMAT The team total will be determined by the best three of the four scores. Each competitor must play regardless of their score in this national senior amateur ranking tournament.
Important Note: The U.S. Senior Challenge has been certified by R&A and The USGA as a World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR) counting tournament. This will allow for 20 exemptions to the 2023 U.S. Senior Amateur, which will be held at Martis Camp Club, Truckee.
