Gamble Sands is the center of Brewster Washington. It’s located on 115 acres with fine fescue grasses, designed by David McLay Kidd.
Golfers can enjoy pure golf here with stunning views and the Columbia River meandering through every hole. There is no distraction – there are no planes flying overhead, traffic noises, and you, your partners, and the game as it was meant to be played. It’s no surprise that the course is ranked number 19. 19 on Golfweek’s Best Courses You Can Play In the United States.
QuickSands, a par-3 short course with 14 holes that span 60 to 160 yards, is open from May to October and can be played by as many as eight players. Take four clubs and your putter along for an enjoyable stroll on a creative adventure that is full of good vibes. Cascade Putting Course is also located on the property, a wildly shaped putting experience that sits high above Columbia River Gorge. The Cascade Putting Course was inspired by St. Andrews’ Himalayas Putting course. McLay Kidd designed it to be accessible to both golfers and non-golfers. It is a great spot for the whole family.
