Auburn was able to jump into the Bushnell/Golfweek Division I Coaches Poll’s No. 1 spot after it won the 2022 Isleworth Collegiate wire-to-wire championship. No. 1 spot for Oct. 28, The Tigers conclude their fall campaign by winning the Maui Jim Intercollegiate and Marquette Invitational.
Auburn received 11 first place votes and 460 total point in the poll. Vanderbilt received six first-place votes, 450 points, Arizona State, Texas Tech and North Carolina. They moved up eight places from their No. 13 on Sept. 30 round out the top 5, while Stanford, Tennessee and Florida complete the top 10.
Pepperdine rose from No. 25 to No. 15 votes, Colorado State to No. 18 and the trio San Diego State and Mississippi State and Oregon are in.
Votes were cast for Georgia Southern, LSU and North Florida. Purdue was also nominated.
