This week’s 2023 World Golf Championships – Dell Technologies Match Play will be held at Austin Country Club, Austin, Texas. It will feature a bracket that is literally full of the best players in the world. 64 of the top-77 world players will be there, including world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler will be looking to defend his title, having defeated Kevin Kisner last year in the final.

Format
There are 64 players in the field. 16 teams of four have been formed. Match play is Wednesday through Friday. Players will face each other in match play and earn one point for winning and half points for a tie. The winner of each group’s match play Wednesday-Friday will advance to the knockout round. The sudden-death strike play is the group tiebreaker.
The Round of 16 matches and the quarterfinal matches will be held Saturday. Sunday will bring the semifinal, third-place, and final matches.
