The Chevron Championship, which takes place at The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands (Texas), is the first major women’s championship of the year.
The Club at Carlton Woods replaces the venue for this event that was Mission Hills, in California. It is a par 72 track measuring 6,824 yards.

The defending champion is Jennifer Kupcho. She is ranked 20th in the Rolex Rankings. The 25-year old finished 25th at her last LPGA appearance, the DIO Implant LA Open.
