In the 80 years since the PGA Tour began, only nine golfers have won three consecutive PGA Tour events. K.H. Lee, the AT&T Byron Nelson champion who has won the event twice, will be looking to make it 10 this week.
Lee won the 2022 TPC Craig Ranch title by beating Jordan Spieth. Lee has won both of his Tour victories in this event. Spieth withdrawn from the event on Monday. Scottie Scheffler, a fellow Texan, is the top-ranked golfer at No. 2.
Hideki Matsushita, Tyrrell Halton and Adam Scott will also be in the field. The PGA Championship is the second major event of the year and this is the last Tour stop.
TPC Craig Ranch measures 7,414 yards and is a par-72 course.
