You could be struck by a ball while watching amateur golfers play.
A fan’s memory will last a lifetime after being hit by a ball in “The Match”. He also has some memorabilia.
Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, smacked a young Kansas City Chiefs fan in the hip during a charity golf match last Thursday. The ball struck the fan, then rolled on the green until it was about 25 feet from the hole. Mahomes signed a golfball and gave the young fan his credential.
Mahomes replied, “I will sign a baseball for you. “Where was it that you were hit?”
Mahomes called Travis Kelce and asked him to sign something, but we never got to see it.

Mahomes was not the only player to strike a fan during a game with a football. Warriors star Klay Thomson also hit a fan, but in a more frightening incident.
The fan who saw Mahomes’s golf ball will surely tell his children and grandchildren one day about it. He’ll even have the signature on the credential and the golf ball to prove it.
