Troon, a golf course management company that has made a lot of acquisitions over the past few years, shows no signs of slowing after announcing on Thursday that it had acquired Applied Golf Management.

Troon, a Scottsdale-based company, announced this week that it would also acquire the management contracts or consulting contracts for 18 clubs that were previously under the umbrella of Invited.

The portfolio of New Jersey’s Applied Golf Management contains 13 public and private golf courses in New York, New Jersey, and Florida. St. Petersburg Country Club is located in Florida. Putnam County Golf Course is in New York. Trenton Country Club is in New Jersey.

Troon stated in a press release that the members of 13 clubs would continue to receive the same service. Applied Golf Management will maintain its Millstone Township office, with all employees remaining in their current positions.

Troon, the largest golf and golf related hospitality management company in the world, has acquired 13 companies since 2014 – 11 of them since 2018. The company stated in a media release that it now manages more than 840 golf courses in more than 30 countries and 45 states.
