STATELINE (Nevada) — Steph curry dug deep into his bag and won a dramatic victory, this time, on the golfing course.
Curry made a long putt at hole No. To pass Mardy Fisher for the victory, Curry made an eagle on hole 18.
Fish and Curry were tied at 69 points after 17 holes in the 34th American Century Championship celebrity tournament held at Edgewood Tahoe.
The crowd was huge on the 18th fairway. The crowd gathered along the fairway on No. When Curry’s putt landed, the crowd erupted.
Curry finished with 75 points, while Fish had 73. Curry was in front after the first round and had 50 points going into the final round on Sunday. Fish scored 47 points under the Modified Stableford scoring.
Mark Mulder, the three-time champion, finished fourth with 59 points and Aaron Rodgers was fifth with 56.
Curry is the first athlete to have won the ACC since Al Del Greco of the NFL in 2000.
Rodgers’ best finish was at Edgewood. He is now the quarterback of the New York Jets. He birdied four holes on Sunday.
Rodgers stated, “I am excited to finish among the top five football players and be the most active player.” There are some very good players in the top five. I am not one of those players. You’d be amazed at how well I score. But I’m pretty clever, and I managed to get a few shots. I am also a fierce competitor.
I love coming back here. “I love this event. I’m proud of Steph for the way he plays. Steph and Mardy have been good friends to me.”
Scores that are noteworthy
Charles Barkley finished 81st, with minus 33 points. Tony Romo, the defending champion, finished eighth with 51 points. Annika Sorenstam finished sixth with 55.

The ACC follows the Modified Stableford Format. The ACC uses the Modified Stableford format.

What is a purse?
The purse for the event is $600,000. $125,000 goes to the winner, and $60,000 to the runner up. The celebrity golf tournament also raises funds for local and national charity.
The next ACC Tournament will take place in 2024, between July 12-14.
