Jordan Spieth told his caddie Michael Greller, “Go fetch your ball.” This was after he had sunk a 50-foot Eagle Putt on the 15 th Green at Royal Birkdale. It propelled him to the victory of the 2017 British Open.
Spieth’s words were more famous that day than his dramatic putt. Spieth won his third major, the third leg of his career Grand Slam. While the wait for him to be admitted into the exclusive Grand Slam club is still ongoing, Spieth will never tire of describing his Open Championship heroics.
Spieth was kind enough to answer a wide range of questions through his partnership Rolex in advance of the 151st British Open, which will be held at Royal Liverpool, in Hoylake in England. Questions included those on winning the Open last year, thoughts on links golf, and much more.
