The PGA Tour returns to the United States in 2023 for the 3M Open, which will be held at TPC Twin City in Blaine, Minnesota, after the final major men’s championship of the year.
Tony Finau is the defending champion. He has missed the cut twice in a row, including the Open last week. Last season, he beat Emiliano grillo and Sungjae im by three shots.
Justin Thomas is now ranked 24th on the Official World Golf Ranking, and 75th on the FedEx Cup Standings. Thomas makes his 3M Open debut in a last-minute push to get into the playoffs and make Zach Johnson’s Ryder Cup captain Zach Johnson’s life easier for Rome. Thomas missed four cuts in his last six starts. He tied for 60th place at the Genesis Scottish Open, and finished ninth at the Travelers Championship. Top 70 players on the FedEx St. Jude Championship point standings will be in Memphis from August 10-13.
