Cameron Smith had an amazing year.
His 2022 campaign started with a win over Jon Rahm in January at the Sentry Tournament of Champions. Two months later, he won the Players Championship, the largest prize on the PGA Tour. Smith chased Rory McIlroy to the Open in dramatic fashion. Smith then left for LIV Golf, where he won his second Saudi-circuit win.
Finally, he won last week’s Fortinet Australian PGA Championship on the DP World Tour, his third win in his career.
The only way for the Aussie to celebrate was to head to the Breakfast Creek Hotel nearby and share a few beers with his friends. You can also see the replay of the winning putt.
