The LIV Golf Invitational Series hosted eight events in its inaugural season 2022. It has been rebranded to the LIV Golf Liga for 2023. Its schedule is beginning to take shape.
Golfweek announced that El Camaleon Golf Club, Riviera Maya, Mexico would host LIV’s first event in its new season on Monday, February 24-26. This club, which is regularly home to the PGA Tour’s World Wide Technologies Championship held at Mayakoba has been a regular venue for this tournament. After previously announcing an Australian event, the circuit supported by Saudi Arabia officially announced Wednesday’s Mexico event.
LIV has announced four of its 14 events and could host up to six events worldwide if it visits one or both the Centurion Club of England or Royal Greens Golf and Country Club of Saudi Arabia. LIV hosted events in LIV’s inaugural season 2022.
