CASARES (Spain) — CASARES is hosting three of the four foursomes that helped the United States to sweep Europe on Friday morning in the alternate shot foursomes.
The U.S. captain Stacy Lewis, along with the European captain Suzann Petersen, announced their pairings at the Finca Cortesin in southern Spain for the third Solheim Cup session 2023. On paper the Americans have the advantage.
After Europe won the Friday fourball session 3-1, the Red, White, and Blue are 5-3 ahead going into the second day.
The Solheim Cup 2023 will feature four matches, eight players and the pairings for the third match session on Saturday morning. Note: Spain is six-hours ahead of Eastern Time.
Golf Channel will broadcast live coverage on television and Peacock will stream it starting at 2 am. ET on Friday from 1 p.m. ET.
