“Rome was not built in one day.” It was only conquered within three years.
This was just one of many posts that were made on the Ryder Cup Europe’s social media pages to celebrate their 16 1/2-11 1/2 victory over the United States at the 44 th play-off of the biennial bash. It took place this year near Rome.
It’s always fun to watch the team celebrations that take place in the days and hours following the Cup. European captain Luke Donald hinted at a fun evening in an interview with Golf Channel Cara Banks, just minutes after Europe won the Cup.
Donald smiled and said, “We do things right in Europe. We do them right.” “We’ll drink a few.”
Do they ever?
