He has long been known for his unusual golf swing.
Jim Furyk’s 17 PGA Tour victories and $71 Million in career earnings is all you need to prove that he has a unique method of ballstriking.
Furyk & Friends, a senior circuit event in Jacksonville, Florida, is being hosted by the three-time PGA Tour Champions champion. Before the event, his colleagues talked about his golf swing and tried to replicate it. They all praised him.
“Just because something doesn’t look the same doesn’t mean that it doesn’t work,” said Rocco Mediaate, who noted Furyk’s ability to consistently place the club at the right position during impact.
Ernie Els, who is known for his smooth hitting, tried to imitate Furyk’s signature swing but it was so buttery that he could not quite pull it off.
Boo Weekley’s thick Southern drawl was the funniest way to explain it.
