Talor Gooch won $9,250.299.
In Saudi Arabia, he almost doubled this amount on Sunday at LIV Jeddah.
The 31-year old won the individual title of the 2023 LIV Golf League, a points race that lasted a full season and was similar to the FedEx Cup. Gooch beat Cameron Smith, who was the only other player with a chance of winning the bonus, to take home $18 million.
Gooch and Brooks Koepka played a playoff on Sunday at Royal Greens Golf and Country Club, King Abdullah Economic City. Koepka was the winner after two extra-holes. Gooch’s individual title was already guaranteed regardless of the result of the playoff.
Dustin Johnson won the LIV eight-event inaugural season in the first year. He had already secured the title before the last regular-season race.
In 13 races this season, Gooch won three of them and earned $15,137.066 from five top-10 finishes.
The LIV season will end next week when it hosts the Team Championship Final at Trump National Doral, Miami from Oct. 20-22.
