The PGA Tour announced on Friday that two members of the Korn Ferry Tour had been suspended for violating its Integrity Program.
The release said that Vince India and Jake Staiano had been suspended for betting on PGA Tour events. The release stated that neither player had placed a wager on the tournaments they were taking part in.
India has been suspended from PGA Tour sanctioned competitions for six months. The suspension will begin on September 18, 2023, and last until March 17, 2024.
Staiano has been suspended for three months from all PGA Tour sanctioned events. His suspension started on Sept. 11, 2023, and will last until December 10, 2023.
The PGA Tour has said that it will not comment on further suspensions.
India, 34, played 176 events in his career with the Korn Ferry Tour. He made 22 starts this season and missed 11 cut while withdrawing from one tournament. He had two T-21 finishes as his best results.
Staiano has played in 17 Korn Ferry Tour events in his career. He made eight starts this season and cut three times. His best finish was T-19 at BMW Charity Pro-Am.
