The Arizona Diamondbacks invited Arizona State alumnus and 2023 Masters champion Jon Rahm, to throw the ceremonial first ball before Game 4 in the World Series.
The Dbacks will host Games 3, 4, and 5 in downtown Phoenix against the Texas Rangers. 2001 World Series Heroes Randy Johnson and Luis Gonzlaez will both throw the first pitch on Monday ahead of the Game 3 game. Rahm will throw the first pitch before Tuesday’s Game 4.
The fourth game is set to begin at 8:03 pm. ET on Tuesday. Fox Sports will be broadcasting the World Series live.
Rahm is a favorite of fans at the WM Phoenix open every year. In May, he was a guest of the Phoenix Suns before a playoff match against the Denver Nuggets. Rahm’s good luck may rub off on the local team.
