Amy Yang wins LPGA Season Finale at 2023 CME Tour Championship

Amy Yang won the 2023 CME Group Tour Championship and $2 million prize money on Sunday at Tiburon Golf Club, in Naples, Florida. She scored 27 under par.

Yang, , who sustained an injury — tennis arm — while rock-climbing, that took one year to heal shot a 6-under 66 in the final round to get to 27 below for the week. She was three shots ahead of Alison Lee, and Nasa Haatooka.

The 34-year old finished fourth in The Annika last week and continued her good play to the season finale, winning her fifth LPGA championship and first title since 2019.

World No. Lilia Vu (who finished fourth solo this week) won the Rolex Award for Player of the Year. Atthayathitikul (solo 5th) won the Vare Trophy. This trophy is given to the player who has the lowest scoring average over the course of the season.
