On Sunday, there was a big golf story when it broke that Paul Azinger’s contract with NBC/Golf Channel will not be renewed.
Azinger succeeded Johnny Miller, who retired in 2019, as NBC Sports’ lead golf analyst. Azinger served as the lead golf analyst for ABC, ESPN and Fox from 2006 to 2015 and was also with Fox briefly when it aired USGA tournaments.

This means that NBC will have a new golf analyst alongside Dan Hicks to cover events like The Players Championship, U.S. Open, British Open and Florida Swing.
