The silly golf season has begun in the Bahamas.
Tiger Woods is scheduled to make his first appearance since April’s Masters at the 2023 Hero World Challenge, which will begin in Albany. The 2023 Hero World Challenge will also feature 19 of the best players in the world, including Will Zalatoris who returns for the first since he had back surgery and also withdrew from the Masters.
Viktor Hovland is the defending champion of the event. He won the FedEx Cup in 2023 and has been a two-time winner.
Albany is ranked No. 25 on Golfweek’s list of the best courses in Mexico, Caribbean, Atlantic islands and Central America. Golfweek’s list of the best courses in Mexico and Central America, Caribbean, Atlantic Islands, and Carribean includes Albany. The course was designed by Ernie Els and opened in 2010.
