Tiger Woods’ TGR Design firm has a new project in the works for golfers and mountaineers.
Woods, who played in the 2023 Hero World Challenge, an unofficial tournament that benefits Tiger’s TGR Foundation, announced last week that the first phase of the Marcella Club project, TGR Design’s 18 hole championship golf course, was now underway.
The Marcella Club will be TGR Design’s 13th track, which includes a mixture of 18-hole championship venues as well as short courses. It is also the first mountain course design. According to their website, the club is private and will have amenities on the slopes at Deer Valley, Historic Main Street Park City, and Jordanelle Ridge. The site will also feature a new TGR Design Golf Facility with 360-degree panoramic views of the Uinta Mountains and Jordanelle Reservoir.
I am thrilled to announce that the first phase of Marcella Club’s development has begun. This 18-hole championship course is being designed by @tgrdesignbytw in Park City. pic.twitter.com/59ul4zayI5
