The PGA Tour will head to Honolulu, Hawaii for the Sony Open at Waialae County Club. The field is not as impressive as the signature event but it still has plenty of stars.
Si Woo Kim, the defending champion, will be joined by Matt Fitzpatrick and Ludvig Aberg. Tyrrell Hatton is also present, as are Sahith Theegala. Brian Harman, Justin Rose, and Brian Harman. Kim finished tied for 25th after a final round of 7-under-66 in Maui.
Will Zalatoris will also be in the field, and this will mark his first official Tour appearance since withdrawing from the Masters of 2023. He played in Tiger Woods’ Hero World Challenge, where he finished last out of 20 players.
This week, the Sentry’s Chris Kirk is a name you should keep an eye on. Kirk was third in ’23 and he shared second place in ’21. Kirk has finished in the top 10 at Sony five times, including four top-5 finishes.
