Rory McIlroy, one of the most vocal players in the game, managed to have a memorable year by winning both the PGA Tour’s season-long titles and the DP World Tour’s. Scottie Scheffler, Cameron Smith and Cameron Smith were both rising stars in the game. They won their first major championships in 2022. Scheffler won four wins in the Tour’s eight-week span and also set a new record for winning prize money. Smith won the Tour’s flagship race, and then moved to the LIV, where he enjoyed a five-win season.
