In 2023, the Ladies European Tour will be competing for a record 35 million euros ($37M). The 30 event schedule includes the $5 million Aramco Saudi Ladies International presented by the Public Investment Fund. The February event will include 60 LET players as well as 50 players who are among the top 300 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings. This is the largest LET prize pool outside of majors.
Six events are again supported by Saudi Arabia on the LET’s 2023 calendar. The Aramco Team Series features five stops around the world, each with a $1,000,000 purse. The series will start in Singapore on March 17-19, and travel to Trump International in West Palm Beach on May 19-21. This is notable considering the many top players who are sponsored personally by Aramco and offered appearance fees.
Aramco also stops at the Centurion Club, London, an unconfirmed Asian location in October, as well as one last leg in Saudi Arabia, Nov. 3-5, at Riyadh Golf Club. These events are controversial due to the many human rights violations Saudi Arabia has been accused, particularly towards women.
Recent events of the Aramco Team Series were held in New York. Lexi Thompson won the 2022 edition at Trump Golf Links Ferry Point. This event will be held for the first time in Florida.

In 2001, Trump International Golf Club hosted the glittering season-ending ADT Championship. Julieta Granada received the first $1,000,000 winner’s check from ADT in women’s golf history in 2006. The event was attended by former president Donald Trump. Top players stayed at Mar-a-Lago Club.
Alexandra Armas, CEO of the LET, stated that the LET’s growth has been rapid over the past three years. She also said that Q-School was oversubscribed, a sign of the high level interest. The LET is now a platform that allows women to pursue their professional goals and build a career in golf. We will continue to work tirelessly to improve the sport throughout Europe and the rest of the world.
Highlights include the La Sella Open in Spain and the Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed. Linn Grant was the first woman to win a DP World Tour event last year, defeating the field by nine strokes.
February 2-5 will see the Magical Kenya Ladies Open, followed by the Lalla Meryem Cup to Morocco. This is the first LET season since 2019.
