Who it’s for: Golfers who want to improve their clubhead speed.
The Skinny Cobra’s head modification helps golfers to swing more quickly. An updated hitting area keeps the ball moving faster on mis-hit shots and moves weights in the sole create shot-shaping biases.
The Deep Dive: Cobra drivers were once more famous for their bright cosmetics than their performance. The AMP Cell drivers were available in four colors: orange, red, silver and red. The Carlsbad-based company, which is based in California, has also done a lot with performance innovation, including unique weight systems, milled driver faces and aggressive carbon fiber utilization.
Although the new Cobra Aerojet, Aerojet LS, and Aerojet Max drivers are not available in all colors, they continue Cobra’s push to help golfers play faster, have more ball speed, and achieve the shot shape they desire. These drivers are designed for different golfers, but they share many technology and features.
