According to the Devou Good Foundation, most of the disc-golf baskets at Devou Park had been broken, bent, or ripped from the ground late Tuesday night. The park is located on a hill in Kentucky overlooking the Ohio River.

This was the second attack on the golf course since October’s opening. A dozen baskets were taken just a few days following the grand opening.

The foundation stated in an online statement that “This isn’t just an attack against the course. It’s an attack upon our community and the shared spaces that we all enjoy.” We urge anyone with any information to contact us and help bring this perpetrator to justice.

For information leading to an arrest, the foundation will offer $1,000 and anonymous donors $1,000.

Officials stated that the cost of the October thefts totaled over $5,000. After Tuesday’s damage, there is no information on the cost of making the course operational.

Officials want anyone with information to contact the Covington Police at (859-292-2222).

The foundation stated that they hope everyone will stand with them in fighting vandalism in the community. These actions not only are costly, but also affect the safety and well-being for those who live in the area.
