LIV Golf League’s second season began Friday with the opening round at Mayakoba, Mexico.
Smash GC’s Jason Kokrak shot a bogey-free opening round 65 to win the 18-hole co lead. Paul Casey of Crushers GC was the other player at 6 over and used eight birdies for his climb to the top.

Carlos Ortiz, Peter Uihlein and Talor Gooch are all at 4 under. Dustin Johnson is one of five players who are three under. Cameron Smith is now 2 under, while Phil Mickelson & Bryson deChambeau opened with rounds 1 over.
Thomas Pieters shot a 5-over-76 to become the newest member LIV Golf.
Casey delivered the shot of the day.
