The game of golf is synonymous with trees, and there are many that are particularly popular.
The 18th fairway of Pebble Beach is dominated by a cedar. Augusta National’s tall pines. Chambers Bay’s Lone Fir.
The ghost tree can be found at Bandon Dunes Old Macdonald Course. You can view the tree from almost any point on the Old Macdonald Course if Bandon Dunes is visited. However, even if it isn’t there in person, you will have heard about it.
The Port Orford Cedar, which is located on the third hole, was damaged in a recent storm and has now lean. Storms produced wind gusts up to 70 miles an hour.
Bandon’s majestic symbol, the Ghost Tree at Old Macdonalds 3rd Hole, will forever be known as the Ghost Tree. The tree was damaged by yesterday’s storm and our team is looking for ways to stabilize it. Please respect the tree’s space and keep it safe if you play OM soon. pic.twitter.com/VxTP5RaNy2

Let’s hope the tree makes a complete recovery.
