Sixteen of the 19 United States presidents have played golf. The former President Donald Trump is well-known for being an avid golfer. Current President Joe Biden also plays the game.
This list dates back to William Howard Taft who was president between 1909 and 1913. According to the Washington Post – Taft was “addicted” to golf during his 1908 presidential campaign. His predecessor, Theodore Roosevelt, advised him to stop playing.

Trump spent $50,000 to improve the golf simulator in his White House personal quarters, more than 100 years after the fact.
