Amari Avery, Zoe Campos and other amateurs will be playing in the LPGA’s first major without any practice rounds.

Apr, 2023

World No. Saki Baba, world no.3, will be among the seven amateurs to compete in the Chevron Championship – the first LPGA Major of the year. The 2022 U.S. Women’s Amateur winner will debut at the event held April 20-23 at The Club at Carlton Woods located in The Woodlands.

The championship does not overlap with the Augusta National Women’s Amateur but it is in conflict with several NCAA Conference Championships. The Pac-12, American Athletic Conference and other conference championships will end on Sunday, April 23, while the Big Ten and Big 12 as well as several others will end the following day.
