Anna Davis has made a decision about where she will play college golf.
The 16-year old , who won the Augusta National Women’s Amateur (April), announced Monday via her Instagram that she had committed to Auburn’s women’s golf program. Davis shared a photo of herself with Melissa Luellen, the Tigers’ assistant coach, and Kim Hall, her assistant.
Last week, Davis’ twin brother Billy committed to playing for the Auburn men.
It remains to be seen if Davis will ever make it to Auburn. Davis could become a professional before she ever gets to tee it up for the Tigers. Next November is the early signing period.
Yana Wilson is the second-ranked player in the Class of 2024. She’s fourth in all amateurs according to the American Junior Golf Association’s rankings. She is seventh in the World Amateur Golf Ranking.
