Arizona now has PopStroke, Tiger Woods’ mini-golf course. Here’s what you can expect

GLENDALE (Ariz.) — Tiger Woods’ “technology-infused” golf entertainment venue with two 18-hole putting greens is now open at Westgate Entertainment District, next to State Farm Stadium, the Arizona Cardinals’ home.

PopStroke officially opened at noon on Thursday March 2nd. Hours are 10 a.m.-11:59 p.m. Sundays through Wednesdays, and 10 a.m. to midnight Thursdays through Saturdays. The venue held a soft opening for nearly a week during February’s Super Bowl 57 celebrations.

This is the first PopStroke venue in Arizona. According to a press release, a second venue at Talking Stick’s Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Reservation in Scottsdale will open within the next four to six month.

Here are some things you can expect from Arizona’s first PopStroke.

What is the cost of playing at PopStroke

According to the website of the venue, the pricing is the following:

All Day Play: $30

Seniors (60+): $20

Military: $20.

Children 6-12 years of age: $18

Children ages 3-5 Years: $15; 2 and under: Free

Groups of 10 or more: $22 per head

There are no restrictions; all entries are first-come first-served.

What are PopStroke’s putting lessons like?

Each location is unique and the courses are made with synthetic turf. According to a press release, they include “undulations and fairways, bunkers, rough, and other features that are typical of traditional golf courses.”

The Tiger Red Course is challenging for even the most experienced putters, with its strong contouring and difficult hole locations.

The Tiger Black Course is easier for beginners and has “softened contours to make it an ideal course to play with families or anyone who is new to golf.”

PopStroke offers a digital scorecard that allows players to keep track and record their games.

PopStroke offers food and drink options

Players can order drinks via the mobile app while out on the course and have their beverages delivered right to their door. You can choose from craft beer, wine or cocktails on the alcoholic beverage menu.

You will also find a full-service restaurant and rooftop bar, as well as an ice cream parlor.
