One of the most important aspects of the game of golf, whether you’re a professional or an amateur, is golf course etiquette.
One expectation on a golf course is that players rake the bunker after going into the sand to take a shot. Now, the Asian Tour Q-school has decided to raise the stakes on the important rule in proper golfing manners.
The Asian Tour is NOT F’ing around about raking bunkers at Q-school in Arizona. A poorly raked bunker going to set you back 3 C-notes. pic.twitter.com/xF2Y8a6EdK

The statement says that failing to rake a bunker properly will result in an automatic fine of $300.00.
The stakes have certainly been raised on the Asian Tour this season, with top players being able to qualify for LIV Golf events. It would be shame to lose that opportunity based off of hitting a shot into another player’s sloppy rake job.
