Bernhard Langer and son Jason win 2023 PNC Championship, making history

Raymond Floyd, the only winner of five consecutive PNC Championships for more than 20 year was no longer the case. This all changed on the Sunday.

After a hot day of putting, Bernhard Langer, his son Jason and the 2023 family hit-and -giggle were able to run away with it at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club. The father-son pair shot a 13-under-59 in the final round on Sunday to win the trophy with 25 under. They birdied their first seven golf holes. David Duval and Brady finished in second place at 23 under. The defending champions Vijay Singh and Qass Sing finished third at 22 below.

Langer has won with both his sons, Stefan and Jason, in 2005, 2006, 2014, 2019, and now in 2023. He played previously with his daughter Christina in 2013 and 2016

Floyd Langer is the only winner to have won the event five times. Larry Nelson has won three times and Davis Love III two.

Tiger Woods and Charlie Woods were T-5 with 19 under. Justin Thomas, his father Mike, and the winner of the 2020 event, Justin Thomas, finished in T-13 place at 14 under.
