Brandt Snedeker, who had posted rounds of 66 to 70 around Tiger Woods’ El Cardonal at Diamante in Las Cabos (Mexico), withdrew due to an injury on his ribs from the 2023 World Wide Technology Championship.
At the Memorial Tournament in early this year, Snedeker was back after a nine-month hiatus due to sternum surgery.
Sneds tied for 27th place after 36 holes on the South of the Border Tour. He was searching for his first top-40 result since his return to the PGA Tour.
The nine-time Tour champion tied for 65th place at the Sanderson Farms Championship, and 52nd at the Shriners Children’s Open in the FedEx Cup fall. He is currently ranked 211th on the fall standings.
