Brian Harman is a lover of the outdoors, and not only golf.
Harman, a hunter who is well-known for his passion, has some land he needs to tend.
“I’m excited because I had a great week and bought a tractor for my hunting area. I will be mowing the grass on it in a few weeks,” he told the media Sunday, the Claret Jug at his side as he basked in the glory of his win at the Open Championship 2023.
Harman was bombarded with questions by the media all week at Royal Liverpool about hunting. It is one of Harman’s main hobbies off-course. But Sunday, he also spoke of a new piece of gear.
He was asked, “So what’s the reward? You’re going to ride your tractor?”
“Yeah. “Put my phone down and get on the tractor,” said he.
Could you please tell us more about your tractor?
Harman replied, “I haven’t seen it yet.” It’s ordered. It’s an 105-horsepower Kubota tractor, and it will be a beautiful one.”
“What color?
“Orange.”
How many acres are you going to mow?
“I’m going to estimate that we have about 40 acres that need to be mowed.”
A reporter said, “I have never seen an Open Champion mow grass on a tractor to celebrate their victory.”
I’ve got many layers, man. “I’m like an onions.”
