Brooks Koepka, LIV Golf’s second-ever winner, is the first.
After shooting a 3-under 68, the four-time major champion won his second victory at LIV Golf Orlando’s PGA Tour on Sunday. He finished at 15 under at Orange County National’s Crooked Cat.
After a playoff with Peter Uihlein, Koepka won the LIV Golf Jeddah tournament last year.
Sebastian Munoz, who was a newcomer to the upstart circuit and financially supported by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund in his first year, gave Koepka a tough time with a final round 5-under 66. However, he came up short at 14 under. Patrick Reed was third at 13 under.
Next week, 18 LIV golfers will be playing at the 2023 Masters. LIV Golf’s next event will be held in Adelaide, Australia at The Grange Golf Club from April 21-23.
