DORAL, Fla. – Four teams were in the running for the title at Sunday’s 2023 LIV Golf Team Championship. But by the time the Blue Monster at Trump National Doral was reached, it was just two teams.
RangeGoats GC, the runner-up, finished two shots behind Bryson DeChambeau and his Crushers GC. Torque GC was third with 6 under par, and last year’s champion 4Aces GC placed fourth on even par.
Anirban lahiri was the lowest man on the team, shooting a 7-under-65 in the final round. DeChambeau, Charles Howell III and Paul Casey were all at 1-over par. DeChambeau finished two shots behind with a 5-under-67.
The RangeGoats won $8 million. Torque took home $6 million and the 4Aces $4 million. In LIV events, the prize money for teams is now returned to them. The teams retain 60 percent of the prize money in the Team Championship and each player receives 10 percent.
