Jon DeChambeau was the father of Bryson DeChambeau. He died Friday.
Bryson posted a message on Saturday morning to his Instagram account saying goodbye to his father. I am so glad you are at peace. You can now be there with me at all events I play.

In a text message, Bryson’s agent sent to Golfweek confirmed Jon’s passing. Jon had suffered many health problems throughout his life. After a long battle with diabetes, both of his kidneys failed in 2014. He required a transplant in 2017.
Bryson completed his first season in the LIV Golf Series last Wednesday in Miami. His team, Crushers was eliminated in semifinals.
