Bryson deChambeau recorded the lowest score ever in the LIV Golf League’s two-year history.
DeChambeau shot a 12-under-58 during Sunday’s final LIV Golf Greenbrier round at the Old White Course, White Sulfur Springs in West Virginia.
DeChambeau collected 13 birdies on his scorecard. He began on the first of the seven holes in the shotgun start on Sunday and made six birdies before making a bogey on the eighth. He finished with four consecutive birdies at Nos. Mito Pereira won the tournament by five shots after finishing with 15-18.
His final stroke on his last hole was the most dramatic, a long putting to break 60 by 2 shots.

The Old White Course measured 7,255 yard and was a par 70 on Sunday.
On the CW telecast, he answered a question about whether he expected to hear from U.S. Ryder Cup Captain Zach Johnson soon.
“I have some equipment that is performing very well, especially with the driver. This combination works really well with my putting. It’s clear that I drove well, wedged well and putted well. “You couldn’t write it any better,” he said. If I get a phone call, it would be great. If not, then I will be cheering them on in Rome.”
Phil Mickelson , who is a member of the social media community, congratulated DeChambeau but also gave him a friendly jab: “Incredible Round by Bryson. 58. What a weekend for him. He took my jump, though. It’s not cool. “I am proud of his resolve, after Cameron and myself gave him a good thrashing on Wednesday.”
DeChambeau’s first LIV title brought him $4 million. Torque GC, consisting of Pereira and David Puig along with Joaquin Niemann, Sebastian Munoz, won the team title.
LIV Golf Bedminster will be next week.
