Caitlin was the first woman to score 40 points in consecutive games during the NCAA Tournament. LeBron James and Dick Vitale were among those who took note, as well as Stephen A. Smith, Isaiah Thomas, and Stephen A. Smith.

How could any sports fan avoid Clarkmania? She was incredible all season with an average of 27,8 points, 8,6 assists, 7.1 rebounds, 47.3% shooting, and 38.9% 3 point shooting.

Clark’s assists and points per game were the highest in the country, but only Maddy Siegrist of Villanova was ahead of her. Clark, a 6-foot-tall guard, led the nation in this category as well. Last season, her five triple-doubles were the most in the country.

This past season, West Des Moines’ product was once again incredible. She won the national player awards for the past season.

Caitlin has been invited, due to her growing fame, to participate in the John Deere Classic Pro-Am, which will be held on Wednesday, 7th July, at TPC Deere Run, in Silvis, Illinois. Zach Johnson, a two-time major champion and Iowa native, will be playing alongside Clark as well as 3 other amateurs.

Zach Johnson and Caitlin Johnson are two Iowa sports stars who will be playing in the John Deere Pro-Am at TPC Deere run. We’re thrilled to offer our fans this opportunity. Zach Johnson has been the face for the tournament for years, and Caitlin Clark’s presence on the grounds will help introduce young people and non-golf enthusiasts to this wonderful game,” said tournament director Andrew Lehman.

Johnson is a 12-time PGA Tour champion and currently captain of the U.S. Ryder Cup, which is being played in Rome, Italy, in September.

Tickets for the tournament, including the Wednesday Pro-Am, may be purchased at http://www.johndeereclassic.com. With a paying adult, fans 15 years old and younger are admitted free.
