BLAINE (Minn.) — There were many golfers that needed to give it their all to qualify for the FedEx Cup Playoffs in the PGA Tour 2022-23 season.
Lee Hodges leads the field at 15 under following Friday’s play. He finished his second-round with a birdie after the horn was sounded for the suspension of play. The second round was suspended because of darkness. A few groups will continue the second day on Saturday morning.
Many golfers who need a good week of play in the Twin Cities pack their bags and head home early.
The players who missed the cut at 4-under-138 included those who were trying to qualify for a Ryder Cup team and those who were in a playoff.
The number will not be officially announced until Saturday morning, when the second round is completed. However, it has been set.
Nine golfers missed the 3M Open cut.
