Cameron Young’s par-4 tee-shot on Saturday’s third day of the U.S. Open landed exactly inside the ball holder insert in a golf cart.
Young was two under par after the turn at Los Angeles Country Club, thanks to birdies made on Nos. Young bogeyed Nos. 1, 3 and 8.
He drove down the 10th but pulled it towards the gallery. The camera panned over to the spot where the 26-year old’s drive landed after the mic picked up his quick F-bomb.
It was not behind a bush, nor in the rough. But it landed perfectly inside a cart.
Paul Tesori, Young’s caddie, asked someone to take a photo of the tee shot when Young arrived.
No one will believe it.
