Nov, 2023

Alex Noren is a Swedish Olympian who has won 11 international titles, played in the Ryder Cup, and represented Sweden at the Olympics. He’ll get a chance on Sunday to win the PGA Tour, something he never has done before.

Noren, who shot rounds of 61 and 66 on the first two days at Port Royal Golf Course, has a 1-shot lead in the 2023 Butterfield Bermudians Championship after 18 holes.

The Swede who finished third in the Shriners Children’s Open last month in Las Vegas avoided bogeys during his third round. Noren, despite only hitting eight fairways in the field (T-43), was very accurate with his irons. He missed just four greens.

Noren has had six top-25 finishes in 27 starts so far this season. He also has three top-10 finishes. His last win was at the 2018 HNA Open de France.

We have all the highlights from Saturday. Here are some key takeaways from Port Royal’s third round of 2023 Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
